Mike Pence to travel to Florida next week

Vice President Mike Pence is scheduled to travel to Florida next week, his office said Saturday, after Mr. Pence had stepped back a bit since a staffer tested positive for the coronavirus.

Trump hits McConnell on response to ‘Russian collusion hoax’

President Trump on Saturday suggested that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell needs to be more aggressive about punishing Democrats who had pushed the Russia collusion line and that the GOP could lose in November without an adequate response.

Trump fires Steve Linick, State Department inspector general

President Trump on Friday announced he is firing the State Department's inspector general -- the latest of several people tasked with conducting oversight on various government agencies to be pushed out by Mr. Trump in recent weeks. A key House Democrat is calling it an "unlawful act of retaliation" in response to Mr. Linick opening an investigation of Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
