Stephen Strasburg’s 16-game win streak snapped by Dodgers in Nationals’ loss

The loss snapped Strasburg's 16-game winning streak -- the second-longest in Washington baseball history behind Firpo Marberry's 17 in in 1930-31 with the Senators. The Nationals' $175 million man started this season 13-0 with a 2.51 earned-run average -- a streak manager Dusty Baker called "one of the best I've ever seen, I think."

Lars Eller looking forward to more defined role with Capitals

Eller, who was acquired from the Canadiens last Friday, is expected to bolster the Capitals' depth as the third-line center. The 27-year-old played both wing and center for Montreal and is eager to return to his natural position.
