Scot McCloughan values building from within during free agency

Speaking for the first time since free agency began, the Redskins' general manager reiterated his philosophy of building from within, rather than making a big splash in the open market. "We aren't going to live in free agency," McCloughan said.

NFL owners to mull 19 rule changes at annual league meeting

The NFL owners will vote on 19 proposals in Florida, including one that would result in players being ejected if penalized twice for certain types of unsportsmanlike conduct. The Redskins submitted three proposals, one of which would expand replay.
