Mainak Sarkar, UCLA gunman, had ‘kill list,’ police say

The gunman believed to have fatally shot two of three people on his "kill list" had apparently expected to die during his attack at University of California, Los Angeles, asking in a note found on his body for someone to check on the well being of his cat, according to police.

D.C. moves to appeal ruling shooting down concealed carry law

The District's Attorney General is moving quickly to appeal a federal judge's ruling which last week blocked city officials from requiring gun owners to provide a "good reason" in order to get a permit to carry a concealed firearm in the nation's capital.
