MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - Police have made an arrest in connection with a bank robbery in which a dye pack exploded on the suspect in the parking lot.
WKRG-TV reports that Mobile police arrested 55-year-old Gregory Owens around 10:30 p.m. Thursday night, in connection with the Thursday morning robbery of Hancock Bank on Demetropolis Road in Mobile.
A teller had included a dye pack when complying with the gunman’s note demanding cash. Police say Owens had the red dye on him when he was arrested.

He was booked into Mobile Metro jail on charges of first-degree robbery and illegal possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
It’s unclear if he has a lawyer.
