VICKSBURG, Miss. (AP) - Warren County authorities have banned outdoor burning until further notice.
The Vicksburg Post reports (https://bit.ly/1mYKvRE ) the ban was set in place earlier this week by the county Board of Supervisors.
Dry and windy conditions in recent weeks have raised fears of wildfires.
Other Mississippi counties that have instituted burn bans recently include Hinds, Lauderdale, Perry, Rankin, Simpson and Wayne.
