SurveyMonkey is a web survey development cloud based (SaaS) company, founded in 1999 by Ryan Finley. The company acquired as a private limited until 2009, where it was sold to a private equity consortium. The current CEO of SurveyMonkey is David Goldberg. It has since acquired three other survey tools (Precision Polling, Wufoo and Zoomerang) as well as a stake in the UK-based Clicktools.SurveyMonkey has 185 employees, with offices in Palo Alto, California, Portland, Oregon, Seattle, Washington, Lisbon, São Paulo, and Luxembourg.
