AURORA, Ill. (AP) - Prosecutors in suburban Chicago say a 25-year-old Aurora man was sentenced to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to a 2009 murder.

Jose R. Sosa pleaded guilty to first-degree murder Monday. The Kane County State’s Attorney’s office says Circuit Judge Susan Clancy Boles accepted his plea in exchange for the sentence. He is the fourth man to plead guilty in 38-year-old Donald Franklin’s shooting death. Prosecutors say the three other men all received between 20 and 30 years in prison.

Sosa will receive credit for 2 years and 8 months that he already served while held on $5 million bail.
