But in a report at 6:55 p.m. EDT, the network's Jim Acosta said the president had put out some “very questionable ideas.”
"I do think to some extent the president is realizing the walls are closing in on him when it comes to managing this crisis," he said. "He ignored the severity of this crisis for a couple of months and now he is trying to seize control of the situation as governors are going off on their own and coming up with their own plans."
