WATERTOWN, N.Y. (AP) - State police at Watertown say a 25-year-old man has died after being pinned under farm equipment in Jefferson County.
Troopers say Jesse Chase of Evans Mills was checking the tire pressure on a feed-mixer trailer loaded with animal feed Tuesday afternoon when the trailer tipped backward and pinned him.
A passer-by saw what happened and immediately went to help him. Police say Chase was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where he later died.
The Jefferson County Medical Examiner is investigating.
