Habra is a city, a municipality, a telephone exchange and a police station of Barasat sadar subdivision in North 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is an administrative subdivision. Habra is situated on the Jessore Road between Kolkata and the Bangladesh border at Petrapole.Habra Urban Agglomeration includes: Habra (M), Ashokenagar Kalyangarh (M), Bara Bamonia (CT), Guma (CT), Anarbaria (CT), Khorddabamonia (CT).
