BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A North Dakota man has been sentenced to more than 19 years in prison for sexual assault.
Twenty-seven-year-old Clifford See Walker, of Solen, was convicted of aggravated sexual assault by use of force for the April 2017 incident.
Authorities say the assault took place at the victim’s residence in Fort Yates. She was sleeping when See Walker entered the residence.
The crime happened nine days after See Walker was released from prison. He has a lengthy criminal record that includes burglaries and assaults.
U.S. District Judge Daniel Hovland sentenced See Walker to 19 years and seven months in prison, to be followed by 15 years of supervised release.
