Cedar Point is a amusement park located on a Lake Erie peninsula in Sandusky, Ohio, United States. Opened in 1870, it is the second-oldest operating amusement park in the United States behind Lake Compounce. It is the flagship park of Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, who owns and operates the park. Cedar Point features a world-record 72 rides, including 16 roller coasters making it the park tied with Canada's Wonderland for the second-most roller coasters in the world.
