PHOENIX (AP) - A baby sitter accused of kidnapping a 2-year-old Coolidge boy has been arrested in Phoenix.

Gila River police say 19-year-old Anna Marie Johnson was taken into custody Thursday night at a family member’s home in Phoenix.

The alleged kidnapping of 2-year-old Eric Warrior Smith Jr. triggered an Amber Alert on Tuesday night.

The boy was found unharmed early Wednesday inside a van in a desert area about 50 miles from his home.

A possible motive for the kidnapping isn’t immediately known.

Police say Johnson is being held in the Gila River Indian Community jail on tribal charges of kidnapping and theft of a means of transportation.

It was unclear Friday if Johnson has a lawyer yet. Police say the case also will be submitted to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
