The Albuquerque Police Department is the largest municipal police department in New Mexico, it is located in Bernalillo County. They have jurisdiction anywhere in the city limits, anything outside of the city limits are considered to be the unincorporated area of "Bernalillo County" and are governed by the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department.
