Police arrested a 25-year-old man wanted on attempted murder charges at rapper Trippie Redd’s South Florida mansion Tuesday, at the end of a multiagency raid that authorities initially declined to explain.

Braveone Jones, who performs as BalloutDaDon, was found at the Southwest Ranches property around 6 p.m. and taken into custody, TMZ reported. Online booking records show Jones is being held on a Miami-Dade County case with two firearm-related counts of attempted second-degree murder and a $15,000 bond on each count, according to the outlet.

The charges stem from a Sept. 15 shooting outside Dukunoo Jamaican Kitchen in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood. Paramedics responded shortly after midnight and found an 18-year-old man and a 23-year-old man with gunshot wounds, NBC 6 reported. Both were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.

The search warrant brought Davie Police, Fort Lauderdale Police, Sunrise Police, the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the ATF and Plantation Police SWAT to the rapper’s home, according to TMZ’s earlier report. A Davie police spokesperson said officers were assisting while the City of Miami Police Department leads the investigation.

Miami police later told Complex that the warrant was for Mr. Jones, who was located at the residence. Complex reported there has been no indication that Trippie Redd has been accused of involvement in the shooting or any other wrongdoing.

Mr. Jones is an affiliate of Trippie Redd and is signed to the independent label HAB ENT, XXL reported. He has appeared on prominent livestreams, including streamer N3on’s, TMZ reported.

Miami police said the investigation is ongoing.
