“Where’s the beef?” wonders one Texas Roadhouse customer. Or at least, “Where’s the beef I ordered?”

Illinois man Kenneth Card claimed in an Oct. 5 TikTok post that on three separate occasions, he ordered a $30 filet mignon from the Forsyth, Illinois, location of the restaurant chain and was given a $20 sirloin instead.

Mr. Card said he told the waiter he visits the restaurant weekly and that this was the third time he was given the wrong order. In his video, he says the first time, the restaurant replaced the steak with the correct one and that he did not complain the second time. The third time was when he asked the waiter to see a manager, whom Mr. Card claims looked at him as if he was “crazy.”

“While we can’t confirm this happened on multiple occasions, when Mr. Card brought this to our attention, it was made right by our team,” a spokesperson for Texas Roadhouse said in a statement.

“We have processes in place to double-check food for quality and accuracy before it leaves the kitchen,” the restaurant added. “If a guest receives the wrong item or is charged incorrectly, we encourage them to let a member of our team know so we can make it right.”

Mr. Card says he previously worked in restaurants, which is why he knew the wrong steak cut when he spotted it.

“I think I’m done going in there,” Mr. Card told Fox News.
