San Francisco authorities on Wednesday charged four men in the February shooting of 49ers defensive lineman Keion White at a Super Bowl after-party.
San Francisco Police Chief Derrick Lew said three of the men were arrested in Irvine, Los Angeles and Stockton, California, while a fourth was nabbed in Atlanta, Georgia.
Several firearms and close to 15 pounds of illegal drugs — from methamphetamine and cocaine to oxycodone and fentanyl — were seized by police during the monthslong investigation dubbed “Operation D-line.”

“We will not tolerate any type of violence in our city, but certainly not gun violence,” San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said at a Wednesday press conference. “We had a great, amazing Super Bowl weekend that ended with this incident. I am just so thankful to the San Francisco police that we are being able to hold those accountable who sadly chose violence on that night.”
The incident started with a heated confrontation between Mr. White and rapper Lil’ Baby, who was attempting in the early morning hours of Feb. 9 to get into the player’s private nightclub party full of scantily clad women.
A witness who saw the spat intensifying left to go alert a manager. Two shots rang out shortly afterward.
Mr. White has since made a full recovery from a gunshot wound to the ankle and is playing this season.
Gregory Walker, 36, is accused of shooting the 49ers lineman at the Mission District nightclub. The suspect was arrested Friday in LA.
He faces charges of assault with a firearm, as well as additional weapons violations for having a gun as an ex-felon.
The other two suspects arrested in California were 36-year-old Antoine Washington in Stockton, and 38-year-old Curtis Green in Irvine. Both men were arrested Oct. 7.
Police said they confiscated a loaded gun and more than 120 oxycodone pills when taking Mr. Washington into custody.
Atlanta authorities handcuffed Marquis Davis, 38, at his home last week. Police said they found an illegal gun, 3,842 grams of fentanyl, 1,026 grams of methamphetamine, 979 grams of cocaine and 820 grams of MDMA.
