Four Americans and a Canadian were killed in last week’s high-speed train crash in Spain, authorities said.

Most of the 69 people killed in the crash were Spanish nationals, and others were from France, Japan, Argentina, Mexico, Portugal, Tunisia and the Czech Republic.

Two passengers from Australia and one from Japan are missing, according to authorities. Investigators are working to identify three bodies found in the wreckage.

A state-run Renfe high-speed train on Wednesday slammed into a stationary train near the city of Urda in the province of Toledo, killing 69 and injuring more than 100 people.

The crash and a similar accident earlier this year that killed 46 have degraded trust in the Spanish rail network, which has been traditionally seen as reliable and safe.
