NEW YORK (AP) - Authorities say an elderly woman has died in a fire at an Upper East Side building.
Police say 86-year-old Audrey Bergensten was pronounced dead in a bathroom in the third-floor apartment at around 5:45 a.m. on Friday.
Fire Department Deputy Chief Nicholas Corrado says nobody else was injured. The fire was contained in the apartment.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
