TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Police in Tucson say a man has been arrested after barricading himself in a call center business for several hours.

The name and age of the man wasn’t immediately available Thursday.

Police say the man walked into a business near the Rillito Business Park around noon and asked for a glass of water.

He then began yelling and screaming before forcing his way into a cubicle that was occupied by a female employee.

Police arrived on scene and got the woman safely out from the cubicle and several other employees out of the building.

The man later surrendered and was taken into custody about 2:45 p.m.

Police don’t know why the man barricaded himself inside the building and say he didn’t appear to have any weapons.

No injuries were reported.
