Washington Nationals’ ace Max Scherzer and rookie phenom Juan Soto are among the finalists for the end-of-the-season honors handed out by the Baseball Writers’ Association of America.
Scherzer, 34, is in the running for a third straight NL Cy Young award.
Soto, 20, is a Rookie of the Year candidate.
