BASIN CITY, Wash. (AP) - Authorities say Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agents have conducted an operation north of Pasco that resulted in several arrests.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Undersheriff Dan McCrary says the operation happened at about 3 a.m. Wednesday near the towns of Mesa and Basin City in an area of rural farms.
The sheriff’s office says several individuals were taken into custody and that the sheriff’s office was aware of the operation but did not participate.
Carissa Cutrell with ICE public affairs told the Tri-City Herald that she had no information about the arrests.
