SELMA, Ala. (AP) - Prosecutors in Alabama say 11 people have been arrested in connection to a drug-trafficking enterprise.
Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall told WSFA-TV on Wednesday that the investigation lasted more than a year from February 2016 through July last year. The Dallas County grand jury indicted the 10 men and one woman.
Marshall says the arrests were part of a joint investigation by state, federal and local law enforcement in Selma. He says wiretaps and surveillance were involved.
