TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Police in Tucson say a pedestrian has died after being struck by a school bus.
They say the woman was taken to a hospital Thursday morning and later died of her injuries.
The name and age of the woman weren’t immediately released.
The Tucson Unified School District bus was headed to Bonillas Elementary School at the time of the incident and reportedly had two students on board.
Police say nobody on the bus was injured.
District officials issued a statement saying they are “deeply saddened by the incident” and they are cooperating fully with the police department’s investigation.
