BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota’s river otter trapping season is over.

The state Game and Fish Department announced Sunday that the season is closed immediately. The department says the statewide season’s pre-determined harvest limit of 15 has been reached.

Only North Dakota residents were eligible to participate. The season limit was one otter per trapper.
