CARMICHAELS, Pa. (AP) - A former borough manager who police say stole nearly $75,000 from the municipality she worked for is heading to trial.

Police say the former Carmichaels manager forged 89 paychecks for herself between 2012 and 2016. According to prosecutors, the borough’s bank account was frozen last year because of the thefts.
