SARASOTA, Fla. (AP) - Three people have died in an incident that a Florida sheriff’s office is describing as a “double murder and suicide.”
In a statement posted on Twitter, Sarasota sheriff’s officials said deputies were called to reports of a shooting at a home late Monday.
Officials said one victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The other had minor injuries.
Investigators said there is no threat to anyone in the neighborhood and that all the victims knew each other.
