APEX, N.C. (AP) - Authorities say they are investigating what people in a North Carolina home says was the accidental shooting of a woman.
Apex Police say the 38-year-old woman was shot in the abdomen around 10:45 p.m. Friday at a home and died a short time later at the hospital.
Police said in a statement they are talking to witnesses and studying evidence to determine if the shooting was an accident and exactly how it happened.
