PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - The FBI announced the arrest of a 39-year-old Oregon man accused of possession and receipt of child pornography.
Agency spokeswoman Beth Anne Steele says Barret Spangler was arrested Friday at his home in Eugene.
A probable cause affidavit says Spangler was tracked down by police and FBI agents because he was suspected of viewing videos of child pornography. He allegedly admitted his activity.
Special agent Isabel Scharn said Spangler also tipped police to a woman in Portland who had offered her 3-year-old daughter for sex. The woman was arrested last month.
