Fish houses must be off North Dakota lakes by Thursday

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Time is running out for anglers to get their permanent fish houses off North Dakota lakes.

The deadline to remove the houses is midnight Wednesday. They may be used on state waters after that if they’re removed daily.

The state Game and Fish Department says permanent fish houses also must be removed from any state wildlife management area or federal refuge land.

Anglers are advised to be cautious of unstable ice when accessing lakes.
