Police: Couple found dead in “murder-suicide”

ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) - A husband and wife in their 80s were found shot to death in what authorities are calling an “apparent murder-suicide.”

News outlets report officers found the body of 82-year-old Terry Lynn Matsumoto and 81-year-old Masao Matsumoto in their Arlington home on Monday. Arlington County police said in a news release that Terry Lynn Matsumoto was listed as the victim.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene from their gunshot wounds.

Authorities say an investigation is underway.
