GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Glendale police say there’s been a shooting in which an officer is uninjured but a suspect has been taken to a hospital with what police call an “unknown level of injuries.”

Initial information on what happened is limited but police say the incident occurred Friday morning near 61st and Glendale avenues.

Police also say a high school in the area is on lockdown only to avoid pedestrian traffic near the crime scene and that no suspects are being sought.
