PERTH AMBOY, N.J. (AP) - A man who secretly recorded videos of a naked teenage girl by using a camera he hid in an apartment bathroom has been sentenced to five years in state prison.
Gustavo Idrovo must also register as a sex offender under the sentence imposed Monday.
State authorities say a detective with the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office was monitoring a peer-to-peer file-sharing network popular with sex offenders when he downloaded suspected child porn from a computer that was traced to Idrovo’s home.

Authorities found child porn videos and images on a laptop computer there, as well as additional videos of women and an underage girl showering. They later discovered the 42-year-old Perth Amboy man had hidden a camera in the bathroom of the apartment where the women and the teen lived.
