Greenville County officials identify body found in woods

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Greenville County authorities have identified a burned and decomposing body found in some woods earlier this week.

The coroner’s office told local media outlets that the body found by a hunter Monday afternoon was that of 34-year-old Henriette Danielle Crawford.

Deputy Coroner Jeff Fowler says he doesn’t know where Crawford was from. He says the cause of death is still being investigated by the coroner’s office and the sheriff’s office.
