YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) - A second suspect in last week’s shooting is under arrest.

The Yakima Police Department’s Gang Unit arrested a 16-year-old male at a residence in Moxee on Friday. He was booked into the Yakima County Juvenile Detention Facility.

An 18-year-old man was arrested earlier this week and has made his first appearance in Superior Court.

He faces a charge of first-degree assault in Wednesday’s shooting of 21-year-old Aaron Prieto.

Prieto remains in critical condition at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

The 16-year-old also faces a first-degree assault charge.
