GILBERT, Ariz. (AP) - Police in Gilbert say a man and woman are dead in an apparent murder-suicide.
They say officers responded to a home about an unknown trouble call last Wednesday about 11:45 p.m.
Police say they were told that an armed man was acting irrationally inside the house.
He was later identified as 27-year-old Patrick Kaye.
Officers entered the home and found Kaye dead along with 62-year-old Maria Kaye.
Police on Wednesday didn’t immediately say whether the woman was the mother or stepmother of Patrick Kaye.
They say it’s likely a domestic violence related murder-suicide and there are no suspects outstanding in the case.
Police say Maria Kaye’s 60-year-old husband - Robert Kaye - identified Patrick Kaye as his son.
No other information about the incident was immediately released by police.
