Israeli intelligence estimates there are more than 230,000 rockets aimed at Israeli populated areas by various enemies, from Hamas in the Gaza strip, to Hezbollah in Lebanon and Syria. Millions of Israeli citizens will be unprotected from the onslaught in the next Arab war with the Jewish state.

The damning report was released by State Comptroller Yosef Shapira and states that up to half of the Israeli population would be without an appropriate bomb shelter, reports the Times of Israel. “Though in recent years, great strides have been made in the area of preparedness and defending the civilian home front, in this review some disparities, some of them serious, came up,” Mr. Shapira said in his report.

Up to 2,500 rockets a year landed in Gaza border cities like Sderot alone in the 2014 Gaza War. I personally saw Kassam rockets land in the backyards of grandmothers with their grandchildren running around the area as the Iron Dome Red Alert warnings sounded. I saw the shrapnel shred the outer layers of the homes as the hot molten metal exploded outward.

And the United Nations says Israel is the problem.
