PHOENIX (AP) - The Arizona Game and Fish Department says a set of new rules governing fishing around the state will take effect in the new year.

Among the changes included is reduction in the daily trout bag limit at the Colorado River from Lake Mead to the California-Nevada boundary and the closures of the Kino Environmental Restoration Project in Tucson to fishing.

The Frye Mesa Reservoir will change its daily trout bag limit to two.

The new rules also create a year-round bow-and-arrow season for catfish at the Apache, Canyon and Saguaro lakes.

Check out the rest of the new rules on the Game and Fish website.
