WASHINGTON (AP) - D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser has announced two new appointments in her administration.

Bowser announced Monday that HyeSook Chung is becoming the Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services and that Brenda Donald is becoming Director of the Child and Family Services Agency.

Donald has served as Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services since January 2015. She most recently served in that role and as interim Director of the Child and Family Services Agency. She will now return to the Child and Family Services Agency as the agency’s full-time director.

Chung is currently the executive director of a child advocacy organization, DC Action for Children.
