Police request charges against 2 men in shooting at Knitting Factory concert venue

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - Police are recommending charges against two men in connection with a February 2013 shooting at the Knitting Factory concert venue in Spokane.

Detectives asked Friday for attempted murder charges against 29-year-old Stafone N. Fuentes and a charge of conspiracy to attempt murder against 19-year-old Cierra C. White.

Two people were wounded in the shooting. It was the fourth shooting at the Knitting Factory in a year. As a result, it was shut down for about a week as a threat to public safety. It was allowed to reopen when management had improved safety plans.
