COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - A 43-year-old woman is facing assault and child abuse charges after her son called police saying his mother had hurt him with a knife.
Colorado Springs police arrested Ester Rosario on Sunday.
Police said the juvenile boy called them saying he was hurt. Police say when they arrived, they found Rosario with a knife and her son with a stab wound. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
