Woman killed by hit-and-run driver in Kenmore

SEATTLE (AP) - A woman in her 20s was struck and killed about 7 a.m. Friday in a crosswalk in Kenmore on Juanita Drive.

Witnesses said the driver pulled over and then took off.

The King County sheriff’s office tells KOMO (https://bit.ly/1fFqyQ7 ) a man later called 911 and said he thought he might have hit someone. He’s been taken into custody for investigation of felony hit-and-run.
