SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - A Spokane County sheriff’s deputy has been accused of working a second job at a retail store while he was supposed to be on patrol.

The sheriff’s office says the deputy was placed on administrative leave Monday for a criminal investigation.

KREM reports (https://bit.ly/1iwzRF8 ) if the accusation is true it would be considered theft of the pay the deputy was collecting at the time.
