PEACHTREE CORNERS, Ga. (AP) - The search for a missing suburban Atlanta girl has been called off for the night, and authorities say they’re considering all possibilities as factors in her disappearance.
Gwinnett County Police Cpl. Edwin Ritter told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that the search for 12-year-old Kelsie Lee in the immediate area near her house in Peachtree Corners had come to an end before nightfall on Monday. The girl was reported missing around 8:45 a.m.
Ritter says Lee doesn’t have a history of running away, but investigators haven’t ruled that out as a factor in her disappearance.
Lee is white, has curly brown hair, blue eyes, weighs about 100 pounds and is 5 feet 2 inches tall. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a long black sweater.
