Tupelo surveys residents on transportation

TUPELO, Miss. (AP) - Officials in Tupelo are asking residents to weigh in on a transportation plan for the city.

WTVA-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1msawJJ ) that comments obtained in an online survey will be used for development of the Tupelo Comprehensive Transportation Plan.

Officials say the plan is expected to include improvements for vehicular traffic and examine the need of alternative transportation.

Residents can take the survey at www.civil-link.com/survey.
