BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - A Vermont man has been sentenced to over 12 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to possessing and distributing crack cocaine and heroin.

Court records say 60-year-old Brent McDonald of Burlington was on supervised release from a prior conviction on drug trafficking.

Prosecutors said McDonald sold crack cocaine three times to a confidential informant. Drugs were found at his home after authorities got a search warrant.

McDonald was sentenced Thursday in federal court.
