BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - A state judge has found a Zachary woman not guilty by reason of insanity in the April 2012 killing of her 2-month-old child and ordered her sent to the state hospital in Jackson.
The ruling was announced Thursday.
Twenty-three year-old Sabrina Maiden was arrested April 10 and booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on a first-degree murder count in the death of Prince Javeion Deshaun Brown.
The Advocate reports (https://bit.ly/1f9tq6O ) three doctors testified last year that Maiden was not sane at the time death of her child.
