FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) - One of two people suspected of stealing about 300 rounds of ammunition from the Bass Pro Shops in Foxborough has been arrested.
Police say 29-year-old Kerri Barrasso of Wareham was taken into custody and charged with larceny of ammunition and larceny of items worth more than $250. Police are still searching for a Carver man suspected of participating in the theft Jan. 14.
Police tell The Sun Chronicle of Attleboro (https://bit.ly/1hmEEUU ) the suspects went through the checkout line and paid for some items, but did not pay for the ammunition they had concealed at the bottom of a black bag with other items on top.
No weapons were stolen. The stolen ammunition was for handguns, shotguns and rifles.
It was not clear of Barrasso had a lawyer.
