KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (AP) - Police in Kannapolis say they are investigating the death of a 15-month-old girl after they were contacted by hospital officials.
Investigators say the girl was taken to the hospital with serious injuries Monday and died two days later.
Kannapolis Police Chief Woody Chavis says he is releasing few details about the case because it might hurt the investigation. The child’s name has not been made public, or how she might have been injured.
No arrests have been made.
